Technical and Organisational Development Support
Forums and Workshops: The Stakeholder Hub provides monthly business forums and workshops in key management areas including: corporate structure, financing, fundraising, marketing, program development, legal, personnel and strategic planning. These workshops are open not only to organisations who are members of the HUB, but also to the members that they represent, including writers, musicians, composers, visual artists, arts administrators, educators, board members, and other interested parties.
Materials and Library Resources/Archives
To compliment the workshops and forums, the SAMRO Foundation Stakeholder Hub maintains a variety of material resources, including: a collection of arts management books and periodicals; corporate, government and foundation funding files; databases of press contacts, and funders. The Hub will also compile a calendar of funding deadlines, outside management workshops, and other resource information which is provided to incubator participants.
Both the workshops and materials library functions of the HUB link to the SAMRO Foundation strategic priority of “Improving the knowledge base on the South African Music Industry” and also the creative industries knowledge in general.
